The conference is organized over three days around four main themes addressing several "hot
topics" of current research:

- the pollen content of the atmosphere and allergies

- future research on pollen as a pollution vector
Session 2: Morphology-Biology-Biochemistry of pollen
- epigenetics of pollen development
- advances in pollen biotechnology for crop improvement
- the mechanisms for regulating pollen functions in plant reproduction
Session 3: Melissopalynology
- the quality of the honeys linked to their origin, such as the "Appellation d'Origine" label
